HubSpot is seeking a highly capable HRIS Developer to join our team! The primary focus of the developer role is to design, develop, deploy, and support Workday integrations to various technical requirements and systems. The HRIS Developer has knowledge of core design principles, common integration  patterns and scenarios, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering. In this role, your duties will include working with both internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

To ensure success within the HRIS Developer role, you should be comfortable in both the technical and project management realm. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and can easily partner with our numerous stakeholders to deliver meaningful change as HubSpot grows and scales as a company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Hubspot’s HRIS team processes, stakeholders, Workday integration tools, and Hubspot’s overall internal technical landscape (Slack, JIRA, Workato, etc) to help identify process and automation improvement opportunities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, support, enhance, and maintain Workday integrations
  • Help to manage the HRIS request backlog and develop stakeholder relationships
  • Gain a working knowledge of Hubspot’s current Workday integrations to monitor, support, and enhance as needed
  • Ensure design, security, and compliance best practices are followed 
  • Test integrations and key reports during upgrades for errors, performance, and deprecation
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in Workday Integrations 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with information systems (project management, requirements gathering, systems analysis & design, implementation, support)
  • Basic proficiency with programming or scripting (Javascript, Java, C#)
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle and knowledge of SCRUM or other agile methodology
  • Integration experience working with new vendors, APIs, file and data transformations. Must haves are working knowledge of XSLT, XPATH, SOAP. Nice to haves are XSD, REST, and JSON
  • Workday integration experience: CCB, EIB + XSLT transform, Workday Studio, Workday APIs, Advanced Custom Reports, and Calculated Fields. Nice to haves are Workday Extend, BIRT, Payroll integrations, and CCW 
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead working through ambiguous, complex requests 
  • Proactive & highly motivated to share knowledge and create how-to guides 
  • Proactive and empathetic communication to set expectations and help teams work through competing priorities and potential risks
  • Solid testing experience and mindset: unit testing during development, as well as assisting with and encouraging well thought out systems and UAT testing
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovations with Workday integrations
  • Ability to balance stakeholder management with overall HRIS priorities



Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
