 HubSpot is looking for a Senior Manager, Data Quality on the GTM Data & Systems team. This manager will drive the strategy and execution for cleaning, curating, and governing the data in HubSpot’s own CRM (HubSpot!). A well-implemented data quality strategy will improve the overall performance and usability of the CRM, improving marketing effectiveness and rep productivity across the entire customer lifecycle. This will be a key underpinning to meeting our strategic objective of driving efficient long-term growth.

This is a highly cross-functional, high-impact role, with high visibility among HubSpot’s leadership team.You will report directly to the Sr. Director of GTM Systems Strategy and have deep cross-functional collaboration to both internal product, data, and business teams.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures for our CRM
  • Establish and maintain data governance processes to maximize data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and safety
  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions and enhancements. Collaborate with a dedicated team of data analysts to benchmark and investigate CRM data issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity across the CRM and downstream systems
  • Lead a team of system analysts, admins, and third-party contractors to implement CRM Data Quality and governance best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices in CRM data management strategy, tools, and process
  • Take ownership of our third-party data enrichment strategy, and use metrics to guide strategic, global third-party data investments

We are looking for people who have:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in CRM data management, with a focus on data quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data management, information systems, statistics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and experience with data management best practices, including data quality assessment, data governance, data cleansing, and data integration
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data management tools (HubSpot a plus!)
  • Familiarity with databases, data warehouses, and data management platforms. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data visualization tools is advantageous. Basic proficiency in SQL is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, and the ability to ensure data quality and integrity in line with legal requirements.
  • Experience managing data quality improvement projects, including developing project plans, defining goals and deliverables, and monitoring progress.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and fostering cross-functional collaborate work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders
  • Experience engaging third-party contractors to outsource data cleaning/governance tasks
  • Experience implementing a third-party data strategy; procuring and implementing third-party data to supplement and enrich the CRM

 


Cash compensation range: 154000-175000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
