The HubSpot Collaboration Technology team is committed to delivering a productive and frictionless collaboration experience. We provide innovative technology solutions to enable HubSpotters to work together regardless of where they are. The Collaboration Team is responsible for delivering a variety of collaboration experiences at HubSpot: live and virtual events, conferencing, company communication portal, physical collaboration spaces, work management, visual collaboration and office space management. We manage technologies like Zoom, Vimeo, Asana, LucidSpark, physical conference room hardware, amongst many other platforms. We are part of HubSpot’s broader Business Technology team (BizTech) which includes IT Infrastructure, Global Helpdesk, Collaboration and Employee Technology.

HubSpot has made the strategic decision to embrace hybrid working. HubSpot’s commitment to flexible working models along with our rapid growth globally requires engaging and connecting employees to the company, the culture, and the information to do their jobs. We are in need of a Senior Product Manager who can drive the vision and delivery of a modern enterprise portal that enables internal communications, knowledge sharing, employee connections and authoritative company information. This individual will work with various stakeholder groups to understand stakeholder needs in this area and develop a vision that will drive value for HubSpotters while helping BizTech to deliver a scalable technology strategy. This role will set a product experience vision, make technology recommendations, work with technical engineers to implement technologies, report progress to leadership, and drive healthy adoption of existing technologies. This role will oversee a portfolio of collaboration technologies: enterprise portal, wiki and other collaboration tools. This role will be critical to ensuring that HubSpotters have the tools and information they need to be productive as we grow, in a way that is flexible and sustainable.

In this role you will get to:

  • Be a thought leader to help HubSpot be great at collaborating across people and teams
  • Interact with stakeholders across the company to understand desires, needs and points of friction as it pertains to their enterprise portal and collaboration experiences
  • Assemble a vision for an integrated experience across a portfolio of tools to achieve HubSpot’s enterprise portal and collaboration goals and drive value for the business
  • Recommend & implement new technologies along with driving adoption and best practices of the existing toolkit
  • Help drive business decisions that optimize our toolkit and also are in line with our broader technology strategy
  • Work with a variety of technologies and vendors to make the product vision a reality
  • Collaborate with an agile team of technical engineers to define and prioritize technical work to deliver value quickly and iteratively for our customers
  • Work with our internal communications team along with other departments to develop creative campaigns to drive adoption and best practices of our tool kit
  • Define product vision and roadmap delivery and report key milestones to senior leadership

We are looking for people who:

  • Have product management experience across a portfolio of technologies (ideally with portal and collaboration technologies)
  • Have a track record of articulating a vision and roadmap and driving cross team execution to deliver outcomes that drive the business
  • Able to sift through ambiguity and complexity to arrive at compelling business solutions
  • Empathize with customer needs and are passionate about finding creative solutions to drive value for them
  • Have conducted a market analysis across a variety of vendor landscapes, managing vendor relationships and understanding industry trends
  • Worked across a diverse group of stakeholders to drive technology decisions that deliver customer value and further the broader technology strategy
  • Managed product backlogs, establishing clear priorities that inform a broader roadmap
  • Understand technical topics and details, collaborating with Technical Managers to inform a technology strategy that aligns with overall product strategy
  • Obsesses over thoughtful and targeted stakeholder communication and storytelling at all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Are data driven, gathering KPIs and metrics to communicate the value different technologies are driving for HubSpot
  • Have driven adoption of various technologies using creative marketing, communication, and just-in-time training techniques
  • Have developed creative mechanisms to gather customer feedback and run large scale pilots to test and validate technology value
  • Actively mentors other product managers and cross functional teams
