The mission of HubSpot’s Corporate Development team is to expand and enhance our organization’s growth via strategic acquisitions and investments.
The Senior Manager of Corporate Development will grow HubSpot’s M&A function and team, working closely with our Executive Team to identify and track acquisition opportunities, execute deal processes from start to close, and provide oversight during the post-merger integration of acquired companies. This person will also work closely with HubSpot Ventures to evaluate new long-term M&A-focused investments.

In this role, you’ll get to:
- Build and execute a strategy for the Corporate Development team by analyzing current state, assessing where we have opportunities to improve, and innovating to ensure predictable, repeatable, and scalable results
- Lead acquisitions and investments in new businesses for HubSpot
- Develop a pipeline of Corporate Development opportunities; tracking, valuing, negotiating, executing and following through to internal integration
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership team, and additional key internal stakeholders to align with the company’s strategic vision, expand the product capabilities on a global basis, and drive steadfast performance
- Act as a consultant for internal cross-functional teams through integration processes; collaborating with Product, Engineering, Finance, People Ops, Legal and other functions that touch these new teams
- Instill a customer-first culture centered around placing HubSpot customers at the forefront of every business decision
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking and in-house corporate development with significant deal experience
- Strong leadership and managerial experience with an ability to work with colleagues across multiple disciplines and in geographically dispersed locations
- Experience in a Corporate Development segment of the business for a growing organization with a broad understanding of all Corporate Development functions and how they work together to maximize growth
- Proven success in evaluating (financial modeling and business case formation), executing and integrating acquisitions
- The ability to both set a vision and execute on a strategy and to roll up their sleeves and get into the details when necessary
- Experience effectively communicating strategic objectives and action plans to multiple teams across a variety of functions
- Created inclusive team environments that foster trust and a sense of empowerment
- Deep understanding of and love for both the SMB markets and HubSpot customer values, needs, and goals
Cash compensation range: 170800-273300 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
