This includes live events, lessons, and full certification courses. Our curriculum provides valuable business training to people all over the world. This educational content generates new customers for the business and delights our existing ones by helping them achieve their business and career goals.

The Associate Content Editor is part of a global cross-functional team and handles editing HubSpot Academy educational content for digital and face-to-face delivery.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Content, copy, and structural editing for educational content
    • Ensuring content adheres to the HubSpot Academy Editorial Style Guide and the HubSpot style, voice, and tone brand guidelines
    • Ensuring content topics are covered comprehensively with ample examples to illustrate objectives
    • Copy editing knowledge assessments, workbooks, and study guides
    • Verifying clarity, concision, and style guide adherence
    • Reviewing overall presentation design
    • Ensuring visuals and examples adhere to D, I, B, & E standards and resonate with a global audience
  • Video QA
    • Reviewing how the overall video assets flow individually and throughout lessons.
    • Auditing the quality of delivery (with attention to tone, narration, and other elements of written, visual, and auditory content delivery)

In this role, you may also support team initiatives beyond editorial review. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting pilot programs and processes
  • Scheduling Office Hours
  • Updating documentation
  • Maintaining a weekly Learning Operations newsletter

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • have a positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • are passionate about teaching others.
  • have strong writing and editing skills (some writing and editing educational content for a global audience is preferred).
  • have the ability to give positive and constructive feedback through written and face-to-face interactions.
  • have strong organizational skills.
  • have a good command of the English language.




Cash compensation range: 56000-84000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
