With top-line revenue growth and an increase in the absolute dollar value of expenditures expected for years to come, we are looking to hire a Global Accounts Payable Lead to assist our new Procure to Pay (P2P) team in building out a global procurement strategy and function that will scale with the growth of the Company.

The Global Procure to Pay (P2P) team consists of premier, motivated, and self-sufficient high

performers. For this role you will have worked in a multinational company in a global P2P

organization. The Accounts Payable Team will process invoices, assist with exception management activity, including researching and resolving complex PO related issues, and hands on support for a variety of problematic invoicing issues. You will have strong communication, high attention to detail, operational improvements, computer and organizational skills. This is a role within P2P where you will get the opportunity to create something new and make a lasting impact in driving value for our US and International teams.

The Day to Day

  • Ensure invoices are entered, coded, routed and approved by responsible manager

  • Accurately code expenses to proper department and GL account in a multi-tiered GL structure

  • Assist with managing the outsourced accounts payable firm (ensure that invoices received by vendors are appropriately entered into AP and coded correctly in the GL, respond to questions from the outsourcing firm, vendors, and the business)

  • Perform month end activities such as AP coding updates, chasing for invoice approvals, completing SOX controls and AP rec’s including generating all reports needed.

  • Prepare GL entries and maintain supporting records and files

  • Prepare journal entries as needed on invoices that are identified as inter-company ensuring the cross charges have been recorded in the correct GL period

  • Assist with the yearly preparation of the NEC-1099 forms

  • Assist with special projects as needed, such as system implementations, office openings and set-up as it relates to the accounts payable function

  • Assist with preparation of audit and review packages for internal/external auditors

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the AP process and tools, and act as a point of contact for all things AP, including driving trainings for business owners across the company

  • Process new vendor requests

  • Maintain company credit card expenses via Concur and Coupa which includes collecting supporting documentation and expense coding

  • Assist with various reconciliations, when needed (i.e credit card and company accounts)

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly metric reports

  • Ensure that team SLA’s and metrics are being met and that work is completed with a focus on accuracy and expediency

Your Expertise and Passion

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 5-7 years global Accounts Payable experience

  • Working knowledge of Coupa, Netsuite, Concur, Floqast, MS Office Suite (Excel) and all Google applications is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem solving abilities

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • International experience is required.

  • Previous experience with a SaaS technology company is highly desirable

  • Superior organizational and project management skills and attention to detail

  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to effectively multi-task, reprioritize and work proactively and independently to meet deadlines and drive agreements to conclusion

  • Strong customer focus, a passion for producing high-quality work

  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures for the E2E P2P process


Cash compensation range: 60000-90000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
