As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage and drive impactful streams of work while fostering relationships with other members of our interdisciplinary Creative Team, stakeholders across Marketing, and HubSpot at large.

In this role, your initial primary focus will be on Marketing & Creative’s new AI initiatives. You will be responsible for driving projects that support AI (project documentation, communication across multiple levels of the company, timeline maintenance and delivery) and partnering closely with Dev & AI Program Leads to connect dots across wide-ranging teams & projects. You may take on other projects as bandwidth allows and/or as this initiative evolves. You will also play a key role contributing to the culture and best practices of our broader Creative Project Management Group within Creative Operations.

We’re excited to bring on a new Senior Project Manager to help us deliver on our commitment to AI, and on our PM team mission to remove the operational burden of the work, allowing HubSpotters to focus on their craft and drive impact for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee an array of projects - with an initial and indefinite focus on AI initiatives - ranging in complexity from start to finish, including intake, discovery, planning, execution, quality control, and project close
  • Partner closely with AI Program Leads to ensure visibility and efficiency across teams and projects, including executive level updates
  • Confidently lead meetings, including kickoffs, scope discovery sessions, check-ins/standups, sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and more
  • Develop advanced understanding of the goals and objectives of the streams of work you oversee, acting as a proxy and verifying direction when working with creative partners including, but not limited to Development, Visual Design, UI/UX, and Video.
  • Become not only a go-to person for project-specific insights, but a partner to leadership, stakeholders, creative managers, and our project management team, trusted for a variety of insights around projects, strategy, team performance and morale, risk mitigation, etc
  • Develop DACI documentation to effectively manage phases of a project and deliver key information and pertinent updates to stakeholders and creative partners
  • Identify and analyze project risks and develop detailed matrices to outline impact and mitigation tactics
  • Manage communications, timelines, and deliverables with creative partners, freelance talent, agencies, and vendors as needed

Qualifications and Skill Sets

  • Excited about AI and comfortable paving the way for a brand new workstream while partnering with senior+ level stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with and supporting Dev-led technical projects
  • Ability to strategically communicate across multiple team levels, including strong executive presence
  • Excel at prioritization, time management, and verbal and written communication
  • Take pride in driving team alignment and excel in collaborative team environments.
  • Can autonomously manage cross-disciplinary teams and projects leaning on management as needed
  • Skilled in creative and complex problem solving
  • Take pride in driving team alignment and excel in collaborative team environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Can effectively usher team members and stakeholders through new processes or operating structures, with minimal coaching
  • Understand how our team’s projects fit into our larger strategy, and how to balance projects of varying levels of complexity using finite resources
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Asana and JIRA
  • Are energized by being part of a team that is always looking for new ways to grow, evolve, and increase their impact



Cash compensation range: 117700-188300 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
