Channel Account Manager

HubSpot is hiring a Channel Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with our channel partners. As a Channel Account Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by working closely with partners to identify and generate new business opportunities for HubSpot. You will also be responsible for providing training, support and managing ongoing sales. A core responsibility of the role is managing full cycle sales processes, including exploratory calls and demos with partners. You will be coaching partners to sell, which sometimes will include modeling what you are coaching, and selling with the partner, utilizing a consultative selling method to reach your monthly quota.


Responsibilities:

  • Run a full sales cycle process, including exploratory calls and demos with partners
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to drive sales and achieve monthly quotas
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Deliver product and sales training to channel partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell and promote our products and services
  • Monitor and report on partner performance and provide regular updates to the team
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including product management and marketing, to ensure alignment on channel partner strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the competitive landscape to iterate and update channel partner strategies


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in channel account management or full sales cycle SaaS role
  • Consultative selling experience, we use the Sandler Sales Methodology & MEDDIC Sales Qualification Process
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets in previous positions
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing channel partner strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Proven ability to develop and execute on mutual accountability plans with external stakeholders (customers, partners) and drive urgency to deliver results
  • High level of business acumen to understand customer motivations and solve challenges through value selling
  • Experience delivering successful training and coaching programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with channel partners
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to inspire action and motivate others
  • Proven track record of holding individuals accountable for their responsibilities and driving results
  • Strong contextual storytelling skills, you are often praised for your communication and can build rapport easily
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools


Cash compensation range: 73000-169500 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
