Role Overview:

As a Product Manager on the Innovation team, you will be responsible for driving the continued expansion of our mobile app offerings and implementing requirements to fuel stratospheric growth of Housecall Pro Products. You will work closely with our engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define the right backlog, structures, and frameworks to move us rapidly forward. Our agile product team is a tight-knit group of inspiring individuals that deliver excellently crafted mobile and web experiences, quickly shipping new products. You will help guide us along the right path, balancing business and customer needs to achieve world-class results.

What You Do Each Day:

  • Think. Identify mobile app market opportunities and define product vision and strategy for mobile-first initiatives.
    • Conduct in-depth interviews, surveys, and competitor research with a mobile-specific focus.
    • Analyze customer and business data to inform mobile app improvements and feature development.
    • Write and present mobile product strategy and overview documents.
  • Explore. Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders (Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, Strategy, and Operations) to develop and validate compelling solutions for mobile user needs.
    • Support Product Designers in creating intuitive, mobile-optimized user experiences.
    • Co-create event models and user flows for mobile applications.
    • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to develop mobile-specific wireframes.
    • Conduct mobile user testing to validate mobile-specific solutions.
  • Plan. Effectively plan how to go from mobile app idea to delivered product and communicate that plan to others.
    • Create, update, and communicate the mobile app roadmap.
    • Plan day-to-day operations of the mobile product team.
  • Build. Drive the execution of mobile features and functionality, maintaining momentum alongside stakeholders.
    • Ensure the app provides seamless pathways for users to graduate to the full HCP platform, addressing both their immediate needs and encouraging future engagement.
  • Launch & Learn. Pull together everything needed to effectively launch, measure, learn, and iterate quickly to improve the mobile product and its performance.
    • Create measurement plans to monitor feature adoption and usage on the mobile app.
    • Rapidly develop post-launch mobile product iterations based on user feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in mobile product management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience using mobile-centric ‘growth stack’ tools (i.e., Amplitude, Segment, Braze, Launch Darkly, etc.) to rapidly experiment and measure results.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing, with a focus on mobile app commerce enablers (e.g., payments, loyalty, subscriptions).
  • What will help you succeed;
    • Deep understanding of Product Management processes with a mobile-first mindset.
    • Passionate about delivering outstanding mobile user experiences, with strong customer empathy.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex mobile app projects simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, particularly in mobile product development.

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $96,000-$120,000 + Equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
