Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager, Events, you oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale internal and external events that elevate our brand and drive business objectives. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional event experiences, ensuring alignment with company goals and messaging. Leading a team of event professionals, you prioritize strategy, creativity, and operational excellence, managing event timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. You analyze event performance to enhance future efforts, maintaining a high standard of execution and attention to detail.

What you do each day:

  • Manage the end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of in-person and virtual events
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to align event strategies with company objectives
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and value
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to optimize event resources
  • Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators, fostering their growth and development
  • Create and implement event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met for each phase of production
  • Measure event success through KPIs and provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Oversee the design and production of event collateral, including signage, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Drive post-event debriefs, gathering feedback to enhance future events
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and health/safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of event management experience, including managing large-scale corporate events
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution
  • Experience working with event management platforms and tools (i.e. Cvent, Eventbrite, Asana)
  • Ability and desire to travel domestically for events as needed

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $100,000- $125,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
