Role Overview:

As an Manager, Email Marketing, you are excited to drive growth with dynamic nurture campaigns, heavily focused on lead generation. You are comfortable working cross functionally, bringing marketing, analytics, user insights, and experimentation together to develop and optimize marketing strategy. You believe that great isn't good enough. You take a high level of ownership and care deeply about our service professionals (our Pros), building precise and delightful on-brand experiences. You are a self-starter with great attention to detail and excellent writing skills. You are a creative and empathetic thinker who enjoys problem solving and testing first-of-kind initiatives. You bring an analytical mind to our data-driven, growth-focused team.

Our marketing team is a data-driven and growth-focused function bringing marketing, analytics, user insights and experimentation together to develop and optimize the communication marketing strategy for customers to drive business growth. What you do each day:

  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that align with broader business goals, focusing on driving engagement, retention, and growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives and KPIs for lifecycle marketing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for innovative marketing tactics and stay current with industry trends to enhance our lifecycle marketing efforts
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, data analytics, customer success, and operations stakeholders to collect requirements and manage asset production
  • Build email campaigns and segments in Iterable that perform against key top-line business goals, including booked demos, attended demos, inbound sales calls, and conversions
  • Set up complex automated email series based on user segment, engagement, behavior, and our GTM strategies
  • Ensure communication frequency guidelines and email best practices are adhered to, applying rigorous testing to meet conversion metrics and effectively communicate our brand
  • Code responsive live-text and image-based emails using HTML and CSS email-oriented best practices
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future efforts
  • Lead and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing email campaigns, CRM, engagement marketing programs through email, push notifications, sms, and/or in-app marketing
  • Experience with an email management platform using dynamic content and personalization languages
  • Experience with Iterable, Salesforce, digital retargeting, push marketing and SMS technology is a plus
  • Experience with multi-variate testing preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $94,000-$118,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
