Here at Hometap, we’re collaborative, passionate, and always ready to roll up our sleeves to create solutions that help people get more out of homeownership — and out of life. Our first product, a home equity investment, gives homeowners the opportunity to quickly access the equity they’ve built in their home to pay for what’s most important to them, from handling debt to finally making much-needed renovations, without taking on debt.
We work hard, and have some fun along the way, too. You don’t have to take our word for it: The Boston Globe and Comparably have recognized us as a great place to work, and we’ve been honored for our commitment to innovation in the fintech space by Inc., HousingWire, and more!
In case you need any more convincing, we also provide competitive compensation, healthcare coverage, unlimited PTO, a generous share package, and a strong culture with plenty of opportunities for team-building and camaraderie.
Interested in joining us on our mission to make homeownership less stressful and more accessible? We’d love to talk.

Who you are:

Hometap is on a mission to make homeownership less stressful and equity more accessible. As the company has grown, so too has the size and complexity of our internal operations and processes, many of which are built on the back of Salesforce. To meet these challenges, better manage this complexity, and level up the sophistication of our project delivery, we are seeking a dynamic Salesforce Project Manager to keep our projects on track. With your organizational skills, problem-solving aptitude, and collaborative nature, you'll ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. If you're passionate about creating innovative solutions and thrive in a dynamic environment, join us in transforming the home equity landscape.

What you'll do:

  • On-time Project Delivery: Deliver all Salesforce projects within scope and on time, with no more than 10% variance from original timeline estimate.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain project management documentation for 100% of Salesforce projects (Project Briefs, Project Boards, Project Retrospectives).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide weekly or bi-weekly updates to all relevant stakeholders through written communication and/or recurring meetings.
  • Internal Process Improvement: Document and standardize at least 3 new project management processes or improvements each quarter. Ensure these are communicated to and adopted by the Sales Operations team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement a feedback loop for continuous improvement, collecting feedback from team members and stakeholders after each project phase. Present a project retrospective within 2 weeks of project completion.
  • Project Management Framework: Using industry best-practices, design and implement a new project management framework for the Sales Operations team by December 2024.

What you bring:

  • Organization: Efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Use critical thinking skills to proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce, including objects, automation, security, reporting, and data architecture.
  • Persistence: Maintain focus and determination, pushing projects forward despite challenges or setbacks.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Partner with cross functional stakeholders and assume positive intent. Convey information clearly and provide regular updates to cross-functional team members.
  • Initiative: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and take the lead without needing to be asked.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Use data to drive decision-making and ensure reporting and analytics is always one of the project deliverables.
  • Ability and Willingness to Learn: Open to new ideas and ways of doing things. Seek knowledge and skill enhancement to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
