HockeyStack is building the agent infrastructure for enterprise revenue. We spent five years building the only data architecture that preserves causality across the full revenue stack — every interaction, every signal, in sequence. On top of that foundation, we built Nex-lm, a purpose-built AI engine that compiles natural language into deterministic agent workflows. The result is a platform that can extract the revenue blueprint from a company's data, encode it into repeatable automations, and execute it across sales, marketing, and customer success — consistently, at scale.
We are not building a dashboard tool with an AI feature. We are building the operating layer that replaces the human bottleneck in enterprise revenue organizations. This is a category being defined right now, and we intend to own it.
We have raised $50M+ from Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and others.
We operate fully in-person in San Francisco. We move fast and we hire people who want to win.
Since launching late 2023, we have grown to 8-figures in ARR, process over 60 TB of revenue data monthly, and we are working with some of the largest B2B companies in the world like Microsoft, Harvey, New Relic, Collibra, etc.

🚀 Your Mission

HockeyStack moves at founder speed, and we hire the people who can keep pace. We're looking for a Founder's Principal to serve as a strategic and operational right hand to the founding team — leading the company's most critical initiatives across every function.

This is a senior generalist role with broad ownership and no fixed lane. You'll lead large-scale workstreams end-to-end, drive cross-functional execution, and manage teams and stakeholders to deliver results at speed. One quarter you might be overhauling the hiring engine, the next you're leading a strategic planning process or standing up a new operational function from scratch.

We need someone who combines the structured thinking of a top-tier consulting background with the hands-on intensity of an early-stage operator. You'll be a trusted thought partner to the founders and a force multiplier across the entire organization. 🔧 What You'll Do

  • Lead the company's highest-priority initiatives end-to-end — from scoping and strategy through execution and results.

  • Operate across every function — talent, finance, operations, strategy, go-to-market, customer success — based on where the founders need the most leverage.

  • Own and manage teams, workstreams, and cross-functional stakeholders with full accountability for outcomes.

  • Build scalable systems, processes, infrastructure, and teams from scratch to support HockeyStack's hypergrowth.

  • Drive organizational clarity — define priorities, set cadences, create accountability frameworks, and remove blockers across the company.

  • Serve as a thought partner to the founders on company strategy, resource allocation, and operational priorities.

  • Use data and structured analysis to frame problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver clear recommendations.

🧩 What We're Looking For

  • 6–10+ years of experience, with a strong foundation in management consulting (MBB or equivalent strongly preferred) or a senior operational role at a high-growth company.

  • Proven experience leading teams, managing complex initiatives, and delivering measurable results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate across functions. You've done meaningful work across at least two of: talent/people, finance, strategy, operations, or go-to-market.

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking. You break down complex problems with precision and translate ambiguity into clear plans.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence. You influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and present with conviction.

  • High intellectual horsepower, relentless drive, and the grit to thrive in a high-accountability, high-velocity environment.

  • Low-ego, high-output mentality. You lead by doing and hold yourself to the highest standard.

We're building a high-performing, in-person culture at our San Francisco HQ, where the team collaborates shoulder-to-shoulder five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $240,000 USD, adjusted for experience and qualifications.
