About Us
Hippocratic AI is the leading generative AI company in healthcare. We have the only system that can have safe, autonomous, clinical conversations with patients. We have trained our own LLMs as part of our Polaris constellation, resulting in a system with over 99.9% accuracy.
Why Join Our Team
Reinvent healthcare with AI that puts safety first. We’re building the world’s first healthcare‑only, safety‑focused LLM — a breakthrough platform designed to transform patient outcomes at a global scale. This is category creation.
Work with the people shaping the future. Hippocratic AI was co‑founded by CEO Munjal Shah and a team of physicians, hospital leaders, AI pioneers, and researchers from institutions like El Camino Health, Johns Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, Stanford, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and NVIDIA.
Backed by the world’s leading healthcare and AI investors. We recently raised a $126M Series C at a $3.5B valuation, led by Avenir Growth, bringing total funding to $404M with participation from CapitalG, General Catalyst, a16z, Kleiner Perkins, Premji Invest, UHS, Cincinnati Children’s, WellSpan Health, John Doerr, Rick Klausner, and others.
Build alongside the best in healthcare and AI. Join experts who’ve spent their careers improving care, advancing science, and building world‑changing technologies — ensuring our platform is powerful, trusted, and truly transformative.
Location Requirement
We believe the best ideas happen together. To support fast collaboration and a strong team culture, this role is expected to be in our Palo Alto office five days a week, unless otherwise specified.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation, the Senior Manager / Director of Event Marketing will own Hippocratic AI’s end-to-end event strategy and execution across all segments. Healthcare conferences are where deals start. HIMSS, HLTH, ViVE, Becker’s, AHIP, DIA, JP Morgan Healthcare. These are the rooms where CIOs, CMOs, and CFOs make buying decisions. HAI needs to own those rooms.
This is not an event coordinator role. You will design the event strategy that generates a measurable pipeline. You will own pre-event account targeting, at-event engagement, post-event follow-up, and pipeline attribution. You will transform HAI’s conference presence from booth-and-badge to a pipeline-generating machine.
HAI is scaling fast. Over 50 enterprise partners across health systems, payors, and pharma. The event calendar is expanding. The company needs someone who can build an event function that scales with the business, not someone who manages logistics for a single conference.
This team is built on an agentic-first operating model. We invest in AI infrastructure, tooling, and workflows that let each team member produce output that would traditionally require a much larger team. Our CMO runs his workflow through AI-augmented tools integrated with Slack, Jira, Google Drive, and Gmail. Our marketing ops lead is building agentic tooling that automates production work. Agentic capability is a primary filter for this role.
We are looking for someone who builds AI-augmented event operations: automated attendee outreach and meeting scheduling, AI-driven post-event follow-up sequences, real-time event ROI dashboards, and scalable content repurposing from event recordings. You should already be working this way. Our interview process includes a practical project that directly tests this.
A bachelor’s degree plus an MBA or advanced degree is required.
What You'll Do
Own Event Strategy and ROI: Design HAI’s annual event strategy across all segments. Select events, allocate budget, set pipeline targets, and measure ROI for every conference and hosted event.
Drive Pipeline from Events: Own pre-event ABM outreach, at-event meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up campaigns. Every event should generate a measurable pipeline contribution.
Manage Event Execution: Own logistics, booth design, speaker preparation, collateral production, staffing plans, and on-site coordination for all conferences and hosted events.
Build the Hosted Event Program: Design and launch HAI-hosted events: executive dinners, clinical roundtables, customer advisory boards, regional roadshows, and virtual events.
Partner with Segment PMMs: Work with each PMM to ensure event messaging, materials, and meeting targets are aligned with segment-specific go-to-market strategies.
Coordinate with Sales: Work directly with sales leaders across Provider, Payor, Life Sciences, and Government to align event strategy with active deal priorities and target account lists.
Own Speaker and Content Strategy: Coordinate with the content team to develop keynote narratives, panel talking points, session abstracts, and supporting collateral for all events.
Manage Event Budget: Own the event marketing budget, track spending against pipeline ROI, and optimize allocation based on performance data.
Build Scalable Event Operations: Create playbooks, templates, and processes that enable the team to scale from 10 events/year to 30+ without proportional headcount growth. Use AI augmentation to automate logistics, outreach, and reporting.
What You Bring
Must Have:
6-10+ years in B2B event marketing, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare industry events.
Has personally owned an event strategy that generated $25M+ in pipeline annually. Can demonstrate event-to-pipeline attribution with real numbers.
Deep familiarity with the healthcare conference landscape: HIMSS, HLTH, ViVE, Becker’s, AHIP, DIA, JP Morgan Healthcare. You know the cadence, the audience, and the ROI profile of each.
Experience building hosted event programs: executive dinners, roundtables, customer advisory boards, and roadshows.
Strong project management skills. Can manage 15+ events simultaneously across different segments and geographies.
Expert-level fluency with AI tools for marketing workflows. Must demonstrate experience with AI-augmented event operations: automated outreach, meeting scheduling, and post-event reporting.
Metrics-obsessed. Speaks fluently about event ROI, pipeline attribution, cost-per-meeting, and attendee-to-opportunity conversion.
Experience at a company during a growth phase where events were a significant pipeline driver.
Nice to Have:
Experience with AI/ML products in healthcare.
Background at a Series A-D health tech or enterprise SaaS company that scaled its event program during rapid growth.
Familiarity with event technology platforms (Splash, Bizzabo, Goldcast, or similar).
Experience managing event budgets of $1M+ annually.
Why This Role
In enterprise healthcare sales, relationships are built in person. The conference floor at HIMSS, the dinner table at JP Morgan Healthcare, the roundtable at ViVE. These are where trust is established, and deals are accelerated. Hippocratic AI has the product, the clinical evidence, and the enterprise traction. What it needs is a world-class presence at events.
You will build the event function for a company at the most exciting moment in healthcare AI. Over 50 enterprise partners are already deployed. The sales team is scaling. The conference calendar is full. And nobody is owning events strategically yet.
This is your chance to build an event marketing function from scratch, at a company where events directly impact the pipeline, with the budget and executive support to do it right.
