Job Description:

As a Principal Software Engineer in our Audio Processing team, you will be pivotal in enhancing the robustness of our real-time speech system. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize algorithms for processing voice data, ensuring clear and accurate voice recognition under various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced audio processing algorithms for real-time voice data analysis.

  • Optimize existing voice processing systems to improve speed and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing techniques into our speech recognition systems.

  • Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest developments in audio processing and machine learning.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in best practices for audio processing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on audio processing.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing techniques and real-time audio processing.

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application in voice or audio processing.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with speech recognition technologies.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.

  • Publications or contributions to open-source projects in the field of audio processing or machine learning.
