Summary

As a Highway9 Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our innovative private 5G solutions to enterprise customers across diverse industries. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, developing compelling technical proposals, and showcasing the transformative impact of private 5G to enhance customer operations and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities for private 5G solutions within target markets

Conduct in-depth technical discussions with potential customers to understand their unique requirements and challenges

Develop comprehensive technical proposals tailored to each customer's specific needs, highlighting the tangible benefits of private 5G adoption

Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the capabilities and value proposition of our private 5G solutions

Actively participate in sales meetings, collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target customer organizations

Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in private 5G technologies, market trends, and industry best practices

Provide technical support to the sales team during the sales process, addressing customer queries and concerns promptly

Contribute to the development of sales collateral, marketing materials, and technical documentation related to private 5G solutions

Help qualify and map customer opportunities to solutions addressed by Highway 9 Networks technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the telecommunications or IT industry
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities for Fortune 1000 companies
  • In-depth understanding of 5G technologies, including Core Network (CN), Radio Access Network (RAN), and Edge Computing
  • Experience with enterprise network fabric architectures and features, L2 & L3 protocols, firewall & zoning concepts, inter-site WAN and Internet transport technologies
  • Understanding of Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure architectures used in AWS, GCP, on-prem w/ VMware and concept of Edge cloud
  • Experience with top WI-FI or DAS solutions and deployment architectures is a plus
  • Strong grasp of the business benefits and use cases of private 5G across various industries, such as manufacturing/logistics, Higher Education, and healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with potential customers and technical partners
  • A results-oriented and self-motivated individual with a passion for selling innovative technologies
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales enablement tools
