Who we are:

Join us as we empower patients to do more with their health data, at their place of care, and at any address.

HealthEx is building the first-of-its-kind patient and health data network, putting trust and transparency around data use for participating patients at its center. Core to its network is a new data collaboration infrastructure layer that HealthEx is building, that facilitates a participatory data economy based on enforceable digital rights, patient consent, and data use auditability and tracking. Its solution can be used to manage patient outreach and consent for data access for research & discovery, payer-based data use, and other operational data uses. HealthEx’s intent is to enable an efficient R&D and operational data ecosystem and deeper digital engagement, benefiting patients and health systems. We are a mission driven team, looking to expand and make an impact.

Priyanka is a physician with clinical, academic, and biotech/pharma leadership experience who most recently led Digital Health @ Myokardia, which was subsequently acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb, where she then led digital health for the Cardiovascular therapeutic area. Anand is a computer scientist and product engineer with a deep start-up pedigree, most recently as part of the founding team and VP of Engineering at BlueJeans by Verizon. HealthEx’s vision is to build the world’s largest research and data network of engaged and consented patients. We aim to get every person involved in opportunities around their health data, in a transparent, trusted, and fairly attributable manner.

We are delivering on this vision by building infrastructure at health systems that supports patient engagement and consent collection, health system governance and compliance, and an efficient front door for researchers to access patients of interest across health systems in our network. To do this, we are thinking deeply about problems across a range of domains: big data pipelines, healthcare ontologies, patient/provider/researcher experience as well as trustless and transparent systems powered by Blockchain. We believe that the combination of our delightful user experience for patients and innovators, quality of mission-aligned health system partners, and radically transparent consent and economics can unlock a new level of patient-centric research engagement and participation not seen before in the space.

We have the benefit of partnership from nationally renowned academic and community health systems and research groups who are serve=ing as founding design partners, as well as top-tier investors and their ecosystems in Healthcare (General Catalyst) and Web-3 and other leading-edge technologies (Electric Capital). We are looking to build a team that has the ambition, depth of knowledge and drive to learn to take on this unique, cutting-edge idea and leave a lasting impact on the global healthcare system.
