Hallow is on a mission to help people pray. We’re the No. 1 prayer app in the world, with more than 700 million prayers prayed across 150+ countries. Tldr: We are scaling and growing quickly and are looking for a writer to help us create content for various projects on the app. This person will play a critical role on our content team in carrying projects from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Edit: You’ll work with our team of writers to edit and proofread their work before it gets recorded, then, you’ll work with our audio team to make sure our content sounds incredible before it makes its way to our users.
- Curate the Home Screen: You’ll work to present Hallow content to our users in the most effective and timely way possible.
- Cross-functional: You’ll work across multiple teams to make sure each content launch is calculated and coordinated.
- All the Details: Once recordings are finished, you’ll be responsible for all of the details in launching the content (descriptions, testing, QA etc.)
What We're Looking For
- Passion: First & foremost, we’re looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun :)
- Grit & detail-oriented: Attention to detail is critical for our work, and in this role, it’s absolutely crucial. You’ll need perseverance and hard work to push some projects across the finish line.
- Project management: Creating systems and processes will be vital for this role. You’ll also work collaboratively with the content and audio team on projects and with several others across the company. You’ll need to roll with the punches if deadlines change or new needs arise. People skills are a must.
- Experience: Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in writing or theology, and at least 3 years of writing experience. Having experience professionally publishing content is preferred.
