This is a hands-on engineering role embedded in a fast-paced product team. You will build features that connect large-scale data pipelines to intuitive front-end experiences, working closely with product designers, data engineers, and clinical stakeholders. You should be comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end and shipping quality code in an agile environment.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and JSON-based data contracts that integrate with large-scale clinical data pipelines
- Collaborate with product designers to implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces
- Work with data engineers and backend teams to ensure efficient data flow between services, pipelines, and front-end layers
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards
- Contribute to sprint planning, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions within the product team
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack — from database queries through API layers to UI rendering
- Someone who cares about user experience and works well with designers to translate mockups into polished, functional interfaces
- Confident working across the stack and comfortable context-switching between backend logic and frontend implementation
- A strong communicator who holds their own in meetings, including when you're the only remote participant in the room
- Experienced collaborating across time zones with India-based and EU-based distributed teams
- Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) for backend development — building APIs, services, and server-side logic
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js for frontend development; familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems
- Experience with TypeScript and Entity Framework
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, JSON data formats, and client-server communication patterns
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and writing performant queries
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices
- Exposure to Azure cloud platforms and containerized deployment environments is a plus
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or clinical research is a plus
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid setting with a distributed, cross-timezone team
