About Greenboard
At Greenboard, we’re building the future of financial compliance. Greenboard is the unified, AI-native compliance operating system for RIAs, fintechs, private funds, hedge funds, and more. It replaces the fragmented mix of legacy tools and automates more than previously possible. By centralizing data and workflows, Greenboard helps firms reduce regulatory risk, simplify their technology stack, modernize how they run compliance, and save money.
Our founding team includes engineers who have scaled products at Amazon, Google, and multiple unicorn startups. We’re backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10, and other top-tier investors, and have raised over $20M to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard — and we’re growing fast.
About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Greenboard, you’ll be the tip of the spear for our go-to-market motion, generating pipeline and creating the first conversations that turn financial institutions and regulated businesses into customers. You’ll research target accounts, craft compelling outbound, and turn evolving compliance pain points into qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.
This is a high-ownership role in an early-stage environment, and a rare ground-floor opportunity: you’ll help establish and build Greenboard’s West Coast presence from our new Phoenix, Arizona office. You’ll help shape the outbound playbook in real time, set the tone and energy for a growing sales team, and operate with significant autonomy. Success in this role means creating momentum from ambiguity, opening doors with senior compliance and finance stakeholders, and consistently converting research and outreach into qualified pipeline.
This is a full-time, on-site role at our new West Coast office in Phoenix, Arizona.
What You’ll Work On

Run initial discovery conversations to identify pain, qualify fit, and book meetings that convert into opportunities for Account Executives
Help establish Greenboard’s West Coast presence, setting the culture, cadence, and energy of our new Phoenix, Arizona office as an early team member
Partner closely with Account Executives and leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and outbound strategy
Help shape Greenboard’s GTM motion by testing outbound plays, maintaining clean CRM data, and feeding market insights back into the business
Who Are You?

Naturally curious about financial infrastructure, compliance, and how modern businesses manage operational risk
Competitive, accountable, and excited to help build something from the ground up — including a brand-new office
