About Greenboard

At Greenboard, we’re building the future of financial compliance. Greenboard is the unified, AI-native compliance operating system for RIAs, fintechs, private funds, hedge funds, and more. It replaces the fragmented mix of legacy tools and automates more than previously possible. By centralizing data and workflows, Greenboard helps firms reduce regulatory risk, simplify their technology stack, modernize how they run compliance, and save money.

Our founding team includes engineers who have scaled products at Amazon, Google, and multiple unicorn startups. We’re backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10, and other top-tier investors, and have raised over $20M to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard — and we’re growing fast.

About the Role:

As an Account Executive at Greenboard, you’ll own the full sales cycle for complex, high-impact deals with financial institutions and regulated businesses—from first outbound touch through close. You’ll work directly with leadership to shape pipeline strategy, refine positioning, and turn evolving compliance pain points into compelling commercial conversations.

This is a high-ownership role in an early-stage environment: you’ll help build the sales playbook in real time, influence go-to-market decisions, and operate with significant autonomy. Success in this role means creating momentum from ambiguity, navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes with confidence, and consistently translating customer needs into long-term partnerships.

This is a full-time, on-site role in NYC.

What You’ll Work On

  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close across mid-market and enterprise accounts

  • Build and manage pipeline through a mix of cold outreach, partnerships, referrals, and strategic networking

  • Run structured discovery processes, multi-thread stakeholders, and position value across finance, compliance, legal, and operations teams

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, onboarding, and leadership to unblock deals and improve the customer buying experience

  • Help shape Greenboard’s GTM motion by refining messaging, testing outbound strategies, and feeding market insights back into the business

Who Are You?

  • Highly resourceful and self-directed—you thrive in ambiguity and don’t wait for perfect processes to exist

  • Commercially sharp with strong judgment around deal strategy, prioritization, and negotiation dynamics

  • Clear, concise communicator who builds trust quickly with both executives and operators

  • Naturally curious about financial infrastructure, compliance, and how modern businesses manage operational risk

  • Competitive, accountable, and energized by high-performance environments with visible impact

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–6 years of quota-carrying experience closing $20k–$250k ACV B2B SaaS deals (fintech or compliance experience is a plus)

  • Proven ability to generate pipeline independently through outbound prospecting and relationship-driven selling

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from discovery through procurement and close

  • Comfortable forecasting accurately, maintaining strong CRM hygiene, and operating with data-driven discipline

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Based in NYC or willing to work from our New York office.

Benefits

  • 401(k) with 5% company match

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 15 days PTO + 11 company holidays + flexible sick time

  • 2 additional PTO days for each year of service (up to 10 additional days)

  • 10 remote days per year plus additional around the holidays

  • Bi-annual off-sites and team retreats

  • Front-row seat to building the operating backbone of modern finance

Compensation Range: $175K - $300K
