Do you want to get fast-tracked exposure on what it takes to build a hyper-growth tech company on a mission to revolutionize how the world does good?
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the COO, Founders and wider team to help Goodstack through its next phase of growth.
You’ll sit at the centre of the company: helping shape strategy, translating it into action, and driving cross-functional execution as we grow. Your job is to bring clarity where there is ambiguity, and drive momentum to the most important work happening across the company.
This is a role for someone truly exceptional - someone who thrives in complexity, thinks with extreme clarity and precision, and takes real ownership for rapidly executing to an exceptionally high standard.
This role will evolve rapidly as Goodstack scales, and done well, it will become one of the highest-impact positions in the company.
As Chief of Staff, your mission will be to:
Act as a trusted execution partner to the COO, Founder CEO and Founder CPO, taking ownership of high-leverage work.
Lead cross-functional operational and strategic projects from problem definition through to delivery (e.g. post-acquisition integration, organisational design, internal process improvement etc.).
Draft and coordinate board materials, investor updates, strategic decks, and decision briefs, ensuring clarity of narrative and insight.
Pull and analyse data to support strategic and operational decisions and create business cases (e.g. unit economics, pricing, product roadmap, competitor analysis etc.).
Run and continuously improve the company’s operating cadence, including weekly management metrics, OKRs, and Monthly Business Reviews.
Own agendas and materials for company set-piece meetings such as All Hands, strategy sessions, and management offsites, ensuring clear outputs and follow-through.
Act as connective tissue across functions to unblock progress, surface issues early, and push accountability to the right owners.
After 6 months, success will look like:
COO and Founders have increased leverage, and you are a trusted thought-partner for them.
You are serving as a force multiplier by being a Swiss Army knife across the org.
You are all over our metrics and have built a strong reporting cadence.
You have taken ownership of at least two company-critical strategic projects.
You are owning core company operating rhythms and they are running smoothly and at the highest quality.
You are holding the pen on board prep and are delivering crisp, timely, data-driven and exceptionally high quality materials.
This role is a perfect match for you if you are:
Coming from a top-tier, high-performance analytical environment, such as MBB consulting followed by a commercial, operational or strategic role in a fast-growth tech company.
An “exceptional generalist”. You are top 5% at a lot of things - from crafting presentations, to analysing data, to finding ways to leverage AI to step-change a process. As part of this, you will be insanely organised and someone who ALWAYS follows through. You’re the one that leaders repeatedly go to when they want something done excellently.
A first-principles, systems thinker with incredible raw processing power. Intellectual curiosity, judgment and learning speed matter more than decades of experience in this role. You will be someone who can hold their own in a debate from first principles.
Highly execution-oriented, with a strong bias toward action. You are excited by the prospect of finding and fixing things that need to be improved. You are intolerant of substandard work - but have the judgement to balance that with extreme pragmatism where required in order to get the job done.
A very precise, concise communicator. You write fluently, you create beautiful presentations, and you can articulate yourself clearly in person.
Extremely analytical and data-driven. You love using numbers, metrics and data to analyse, test hypotheses, inform decisions, and build narratives. You are comfortable pulling data directly yourself (e.g. SQL, spreadsheets, BI tools).
Brilliant at working across functions and with stakeholders at all levels. As part of that, you are low-ego, collaborative and kind - particularly when the heat is on (see below).
Calm under pressure. You are amazing at keeping multiple balls juggling and multi-tasking, but you can also prioritise ruthlessly and say no when you need to.
Someone with an inner drive. This is role is an extension of the COO and Founders, and so you’ll be very ambitious and want to win passionately. You are someone that is willing to go all-in to create something generational.
Bonus if you have:
An MBA from a top-tier business school.
Been in an organisation that has hyper-scaled from $20M to $100M+ ARR.
Basic coding or scripting ability (e.g. Python) to automate analysis or answer questions quickly.
Been in a complex, multi-product enterprise SaaS, fin-tech or marketplace scale-up.
Designed and run operating systems such as OKRs and MBRs.
A passion for social impact, nonprofits, or purpose-driven companies.
