GoodData’s Professional Services team works with our customers to build BI solutions using the GoodData platform; and build and customize analytical / reporting products to implement into clients' internal systems. We play a critical role in managing the technical ins and outs of the implementation, as well as helping our customers realize the powerful business uses of our tools.

As a key member of our implementation team, you will be the person who guides our customers through their custom solution development and leads GoodData's technical resources. You will work directly with customers to understand the requirements and translate them into logical data models, ETL designs, dashboards, and general consulting with the customers.

Your job will be to

• Design and build BI solutions and analytic applications for storing, accessing and analyzing data.

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines (batch and streaming) for ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.

• Define and maintain solution blueprints, design patterns, and operational runbooks for data lake and analytics platform deployments.

• Work alongside customers’ technical teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient deployments.

• Mentor and support other consultants and engineers on Iceberg, StarRocks, and modern BI architecture best practices.
  

About you

• 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable BI solutions.

• Proven hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg in production environments. Strong background with StarRocks or similar modern MPP columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse, Apache Doris, BigQuery).

• Deep SQL expertise and experience designing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines

• Strong technical skills with the ability to rapidly learn technical skills relevant to GoodData Technology.

• Experience working in a customer facing environment, ability to negotiate appropriate resolutions to issues. Self-directed with the ability to work simultaneous engagements.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
  

It is nice to have

• Knowledge of Python scripting languages

• Knowledge of Web Services, REST.

• Experience with other analytical and columnar databases

• Project leadership skills in data engineering or BI contexts.
