ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Product Manager, you’ll solve problems that 1B+ knowledge workers struggle with daily. You’ll deliver best-in-class Search and AI products for understanding, finding, and synthesizing knowledge. We’ve only taken the first step towards our long-term vision of an intelligent work assistant, and we need great product leaders to take us the rest of the way.

We’re a very lean product team, so you’ll have an outsized role in shaping the product roadmap and the product team. You’ll collaborate closely with our stellar Engineering, Data Science, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Success partners to understand our customers and build category-defining tools. You’ll wear many hats and gain both breadth and depth of experience.

As PM for the AI platform, you will build the complete toolkit for custom generative AI apps in the enterprise. Enterprises have vast amounts of unstructured knowledge trapped in silos and want to embrace generative AI. However, deploying AI safely is hard, and they need a central platform to build custom use cases. Glean’s retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) engine provides all the core capabilities, and you will figure out how to make it work in practice and position the platform for long-term success.

What you will do and achieve:

  • Spend a lot of time with our customers and users to deeply understand their needs
  • Develop critical parts of our product roadmap, marrying customers’ needs with our product vision
  • Empower your team by giving context, setting direction, and building alignment
  • Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
  • Build processes that will scale as our team and company go through rapid growth

Who you are:

  • You have 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager in search, AI tools, or a related domain. Experience working at an enterprise B2B SaaS company is a plus.
  • You have a strong technical background in AI and excel at analytical thinking.
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, and productivity tools is a plus.
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results.
  • You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • You have a learning and growth mindset.
  • You are mission-first and understand that your success is measured by your product and team’s success.
