About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We’re looking for a SAP specialist who can help accelerate our presales motion. In this role, you will flex your knowledge of the SAP ecosystem and offerings to influence our global sales engineering and sales teams. You’ll work closely with both external prospective customers and internal sales and sales engineering teams to ensure the Fivetran solutions are fit for purpose. You’ll have expertise in our supported SAP offerings, our replication technology, and a deep understanding of how the largest companies in the world are using SAP services. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure our solutions meet our customers’ current and future needs.

This is a full-time remote position anywhere in the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver world-class presales support for Fivetran SAP replication use cases
  • Proactively work with our Product and Engineering teams to drive SAP related escalations and roadmap improvements
  • Accelerate organizational understanding of SAP technologies and supported replication methodologies
  • Collaborate with internal specialist groups to drive focus and delivery

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Expertise as a SAP Basis admin, SAP architect, SAP BW developer, or SAP consultant
  • Working knowledge of HEC, RISE and On-Premise SAP deployment architectures
  • Keen understanding of SAP licensing and access control models
  • Expertise with competitive SAP replication tooling, and resource needs
  • Passion to serve as a technical resource by partnering with existing field Sales Engineers to respond with correct and prompt information to prospective customers
  • Knowledge of ABAP and NetWeaver interfaces
  • Ability to influence highly technical audiences in their language, and influence business audiences by translating complex replication concepts into easy to understand terminology
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with your team and stakeholders to drive a deal forward
  • Passion for data and analytics, a philosophy of using technology to help solve business problems

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.
