Who we are: First Street is the standard for Climate Risk Financial Modeling. We use transparent and peer-reviewed methodologies to calculate the past, present, and future climate risk for every property in the world. We started working with the world’s leading climate scientists to create groundbreaking, climate-adjusted, property specific models over 8 years ago and haven’t stopped.
Our mission: We exist to connect climate and financial risk.
Our data: We create physics-based, deterministic models of flooding, wildfire and hurricanes, and advanced statistical models of extreme heat, air quality, drought, hail, severe convective storms, winter storms, and more. All of this data is used to create property-level financial risk metrics and macroeconomic variables to quantify the impacts of climate, property by property.
Our customers: We empower governments at the highest levels to make smart regulations, businesses to avoid bad investments, and everyday homebuyers to understand their personal risk from climate change. We are relied on every day by:
Agencies ranging from the U.S. Department of Treasury to Fannie Mae
The world's biggest banks such as Bank of America and Wells Fargo
Institutional investors like Nuveen and Blackstone
Millions of everyday users on Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, Homes.com, and more
We believe: With the right data, we can identify the problems, avoid bad investments, and implement solutions. This is why we have invested tens of millions of dollars into our science, data, people, and products and have raised tens of millions more to move even faster. Role Overview
As the Head of Enterprise Product, you will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the Leadership Team. You’ll lead a high-performing, customer-obsessed team that builds sophisticated, data-rich products used by the world’s leading financial institutions, asset owners, asset managers, and real estate investment firms. You will define and drive the enterprise product roadmap, anchored in market opportunity and sales, aligned with company strategy, and continuously informed by customer feedback and market signals, while remaining deeply hands-on in shaping product requirements, specifications, and delivery.
You will be responsible for defining and driving First Street’s enterprise product roadmap — translating market needs into scalable solutions that deliver real financial and operational value. You’ll ensure our platform, data, and applications meet the rigor, reliability, and transparency standards expected from enterprise financial clients operating in complex, regulated environments. This role is both strategic and operational: leading teams, scaling systems, and shaping how we bring climate risk into the financial mainstream. We already have proven PMF, your role is to scale us as we enter growth mode.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and scale a cross-functional enterprise product organization from startup to growth mode while fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and impact; you will attract, develop, and retain top product talent.
Define the enterprise product vision and strategy in partnership with the CEO and execute, ensuring alignment with sales outcomes, customer feedback, and market opportunity.
Translate complex customer requirements – spanning financial institutions such as asset owners, asset managers, and real estate investment trusts – into high-performing solutions.
Partner closely with Engineering, Science, and Revenue organizations to prioritize the roadmap and deliver against customer commitments.
Establish best-in-class product development processes and metrics to drive consistency, speed, and quality across teams.
Drive continuous improvement and scalability in how First Street delivers value to large, data-driven organizations.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to ensure enterprise products are adopted, integrated, and expanded within client organizations.
Drive the evolution of enterprise pricing, packaging, and SLAs to align with client expectations.
Success will be measured based on customer adoption of the enterprise suite and all new features, time to market, and overall user metrics to be jointly defined with the CEO.
Requirements
Proven success in a senior product leadership role, ideally Head of Product or equivalent at a high-growth enterprise SaaS, data, or Fintech company – with a record of scaling products and organizations through the growth stage (approximately $20M → $50M ARR).
Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and scale high-performing product teams and output dependent organizations such as sales, across multiple functions and geographies.
Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, customer success, and technical implementation in B2B environments.
Track record of delivering products that combine data, analytics, and software into actionable tools for institutional clients at speed — especially those that fit within existing portfolio life-cycle workflows or broader portfolio and risk management platforms.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate between technical, commercial, and scientific teams.
Passion for climate, risk, or data-driven decision-making — and the ambition to build products that define a new market.
