Team & Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Manager to join First Street and support both the Sales and Operations teams. This role is crucial to ensure the smooth operation of our sales processes and the accuracy of our sales data. You will be responsible for managing invoicing, tracking customer contract details, maintaining and reporting from our CRM, and tracking sales performance metrics. As a Manager, you will also be responsible for setting direction on Sales Operations and potentially growing a team. Additionally, you will serve as a key interface between the Sales team and Finance team.
The Sales Operations Manager works as part of the Operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The Operations team is responsible for creating and managing systems, processes, and projects that build a highly effective and sustainable organization at First Street.

What you’ll do:
Leadership
- Set direction for the Sales Ops function, proactively buildng and improving on existing processes
- Potentially grow and manage a small team
- Manage invoicing process for all closed deals, working with our enterprise customers to generate, verify, and distribute invoices, ensuring timely payment from customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer contracts, invoices and related financial transactions
- Oversee the billing onboarding process for new customers and support renewals process for existing customers
- Coordinate vendor due diligence process for customers, working across various teams at First Street. Efficiently & accurately draft and submit required information for the vendor procurement process, including managing access to vendor due diligence systems
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive response inventory to address client vendor due diligence needs, ensuring accuracy and collaborating with internal stakeholders to update and improve response content regularly
- Work with the Sales team and Finance to develop, maintain comprehensive reports on invoicing operations and sales operations KPIs
- Analyze invoice data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Generate and distribute regular reports on sales metrics, including individual Account Executive performance against sales targets and overall Sales team performance against targets
- Monitor sales performance metrics, identifying trends and providing insights to the Sales and Operations teams to drive performance improvements
- Collaborate with Sales, IT, and other departments to automate and streamline invoice operations and reporting workflows
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand and support their invoicing needs and reporting requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales processes and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with Operations / Finance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliation
- Handle customer inquiries and issues related to invoices and vendor due diligence, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support
- 5+ years of experience in a sales operations, sales support, or administrative role, preferably in the technology or data industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management
- Proficiency with CRM software (preferably Hubspot) and invoicing software
- Education minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in working with technology companies in the banks, real estate or investment management verticals
- An analytical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate insights from sales and financial data
