About the Role
As the Customer Due Diligence Process Owner, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving AI and automation solutions within our CDD function. Your role is crucial for enhancing efficiency, ensuring compliance, and improving the customer experience through strategic use of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design and implementation of AI and automation solutions to optimize CDD processes.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation across the CDD team.
  • Ensure all solutions meet strict regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Use low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Make/Integromat) to build reliable and scalable processes without extensive custom development.
  • Take full ownership of end-to-end CDD processes, leading digital transformation efforts.
  • Introduce innovative approaches to streamline onboarding, monitoring, and review activities.
  • Manage proof-of-concepts and pilot projects, bringing successful solutions into production.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the CDD team and key stakeholders, including Compliance, Risk, Product, and Technology.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable AI and automation solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that impact CDD processes.
  • Independently manage projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Define, track, and report on key success metrics for AI and automation initiatives.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to senior management on process efficiency, risk mitigation, and value creation.

Who you are

  • A strong understanding of CDD/Know Your Customer (KYC)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, automation, and AI technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms to design and maintain efficient workflows.
  • The ability to work independently, turning strategic vision into practical execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to define and interpret performance metrics.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and innovative thinking
  • You are a proactive self-starter who takes full accountability for results.
  • You consistently identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • You build trust by effectively balancing regulatory rigor with operational efficiency.
