What You Will Be Doing
- Technical Leadership:
- Proactively propose ideas and strategies for the development of the technology stack in marketing, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all task/alert/bug flows related to MarTech projects.
- Set tasks for the team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with other teams leads to alignment on interaction mechanisms (e.g., API, data pipelines) for cross-product initiatives.
- Write and maintain up-to-date product documentation, essential for onboarding new team members. Regularly allocate time for documentation or delegate it within the team.
- Act as the code owner in team repositories, overseeing code quality and allocating time for refactoring when necessary.
- Oversee and synchronize development efforts across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and data science teams to ensure efficient task execution.
- Ensure tasks aligned with the product lead’s objectives are completed on time and within scope.
- IT Architecture Management:
- Develop and maintain IT architecture for marketing technologies, including websites, landing pages, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
- Integrate various MarTech tools, ensuring seamless operation and interaction.
- Optimize the performance and security of digital products and systems.
- Development and Maintenance:
- Lead the development of web applications, landing pages, and other digital solutions, including both frontend and backend technologies.
- Ensure all digital products follow best practices in UX/UI design and SEO.
- Manage the development lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, and timeline management.
- Select and implement the best software solutions for marketing automation, data analysis, and campaign management.
- Oversee the integration of MarTech tools with existing IT systems.
- Organizational Leadership:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team, including backend developers, frontend developers, mobile developers and QA.
- Align with the stakeholders on task timelines, priorities, technical debt, improvements, and alerts.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with all team members to ensure alignment and address any issues.
- Approve and manage team members’ leave requests.
- Lead the onboarding phase for new hires, explaining the product components and facilitating their integration into the team.
- Conduct final interview rounds for potential new team members and make hiring decisions.
- Distribute equity options among team members.
- Collaborate with the department lead to conduct performance reviews.
- Drive the development of both technical and soft skills within the team.
- Represent the team at architectural committee meetings and ensure adherence to the decisions made.
Who You Are
- At least 5 years of experience as a developer — this experience is critical, as you will be leading technical efforts within a domain that requires deep understanding of marketing systems, customer data management, and automation tools.
- At least 3 years of experience managing distributed teams, making sure all tasks are delivered on time and providing visibility and transparency of all process;
- Proven experience within a MarTech or digital marketing environment, with a focus on marketing technologies, including websites, landing pages, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms and analytics tools.
- Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., GCP) analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, website vital metrics assessment tools).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript Strapicms, Next.js, React.js, Node, Sentry, Gitlab ) we use these technologies and it will be a plus if you are familiar with them
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- English - B2 level at least and willingness to conduct work communication in English
