Working format:
Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.
Spain: we are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or a NIE linked to a valid working permit in Spain (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.
Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.
What You Can Expect
We are looking for a Corporate Finance Associate – Advanced Financial Modelling/Reporting to join our Finance team. If you thrive on working with numbers, have a sharp analytical mind, and want to help shape a fast-growing fintech scale-up, this role is for you.
This is a highly analytical role with a strong focus on collaboration with FP&A, Finance, and Data Analytics teams. You’ll help ensure the accuracy of financial data, streamline internal processes, and support strategic decision-making with high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct advanced financial modelling, unit economics and payback analysis, factor analysis, and in-depth business and financial performance reviews in collaboration with business teams.
- Reporting & Accuracy: Streamline financial processes, ensure accuracy of reported numbers, and prepare structured financial and management reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution. You will work side by side with the Corporate Finance Lead, the CFO and all Finom’s key stakeholder, both internal and external.
- Management Materials: Prepare high-impact management presentations such as executive decks, supervisory board materials, and other supporting documentation.
- Insights & Recommendations: Deliver clear, actionable insights to support company-wide strategic and financial decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key initiatives and KPIs, identify variances, and propose optimisation opportunities.
About You
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. (MBA or CFA is a plus)
- Experience: 2–4 years in investment banking, corporate finance/financial modelling, PE/VC, or fintech. Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills in Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with AI tools, SQL, Python, BI is a plus.
- Mindset: Independent, data-driven thinker with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
- Communication: Able to clearly present complex information and influence decision-makers.
- Work Ethic: Reliable and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
