What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with the CPO to define and refine Finom’s short and long-term product strategy, aligning it with our mission to empower entrepreneurs and our hyper-growth objectives.
- Conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats, translating insights into actionable product strategies.
- Collaborate with product leaders across domains (e.g., spend management, invoicing, payments) to ensure a unified, customer-centric strategy that maximizes impact.
- Own the development of strategic frameworks, roadmaps, and OKRs that guide product teams and tie directly to measurable business outcomes like revenue growth and customer retention.
- Act as a thought partner to the CPO and senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations to inform investment decisions, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Dive into customer research and SME pain points, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to uncover unmet needs and high-value opportunities.
- Champion integrating AI and other technologies into our product strategy, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in delivering innovative solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment, working closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, and commercial teams to bring strategic initiatives to life.
- Communicate the product strategy compellingly to diverse stakeholders—executives, teams, and external partners—translating complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
- Balance long-term vision with short-term wins, identifying quick-impact opportunities that build momentum while advancing our strategic goals.
Who You Are
- You bring extensive experience in product strategy, product management, or management consulting, with a proven ability to solve complex problems and drive impactful outcomes.
- You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for synthesizing market data, customer insights, and business metrics into coherent, forward-looking plans.
- You have a strong understanding of B2B SaaS, fintech, or SME-focused solutions, with an ability to grasp the financial and operational challenges entrepreneurs face.
- You’re comfortable operating at a senior level, influencing without authority, and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
- You excel in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, bringing structure and clarity to undefined challenges.
- You’re analytically rigorous and technical, with experience leveraging data to inform decisions, set priorities, and measure success without the need and support of a data team.
- You’re an exceptional communicator, able to distill intricate concepts into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- You thrive on collaboration, with a track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up, balancing rapid iteration and long-term planning.
- A background in fintech, payments, or financial services, with hands-on knowledge of building customer-facing platforms.
- Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) with a focus on strategy, product, or technology engagements.
- Familiarity with AI-driven product innovation and its application in B2B contexts.
