FINOM are searching for a Card Operations - Process Lead to join our team. This position will be based in FINOM’s Office in Amsterdam and responsible for managing operational processes surrounding Finom’s cards infrastructure.

You will...

  • Be responsible for managing and optimising all of our operational cards processes, including but not limited to; card disputes (chargebacks), card delivery and general card transactional management
  • Lead and manage our Card Operations team, the team who works on daily payments and cards operational requests. Monitor and enforce SLAs in relation to issues arising from cards issues
  • Support managing our relationship with strategic Partners across Europe in our Cards sphere, including communicating with our cards infrastructure providers to escalate requests and track issues
  • Have the opportunity to make a direct impact on how payment services are offered to our customers in both our products and back office systems
  • Act with a “start up” mentality, with a clear focus on striving for improvements
  • Working autonomously, whilst also collaborating with your own team alongside multiple other departments and stakeholders
  • Actively try to detect inefficiencies and propose solutions. Act on initiative, and search for answers to provide the best experience for our customers
  • Liaise with FINOM’s product team to develop new features on our platform;

You should...

  • Speak English fluently
  • Have a deep understanding card issuing and the relevant operational processes surrounding what it means to be an issuer
  • Have 2+ years experience managing a team of people in an Operations department in a fintech or neobank
  • Act with a "start up" mentality, with a clear focus on striving for improvements
  • Enjoy working autonomously, whilst also collaborating with your own team alongside multiple other departments and stakeholders
  • Actively try to detect inefficiencies and propose solutions
  • Have an analytical mindset, with skills in Google sheets or Excel skills
  • Act on initiative, and search for answers to provide the best experience for our customers
  • Have troubleshooting at the heart of your work ethic! You are the type of person who won't stop until they get a resolution

It would be great if you...

  • Speak Dutch and/or German
  • Have an understanding of or experience working with SQL, and other data tracking tools
