About The Role

We are looking for a full time Payments Operations Specialist to join our expanding Operations department.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work in our Payments Operations team, acting as the bridge between our customer support team and partner banks;
  • Action tasks from our customer, and be responsible for helping to resolve day-to-day issues of our customers;
  • Action requests related to payments from our partner banks;
  • Communicate with our partner banks and our customers to escalate requests and track issues;
  • Identify consistent issues, work to make manual work and processes more scalable and suggest improvements;
  • Investigate and monitor problems with payment transactions and solve payment-related questions;
  • Work on daily operational requests with an "improvement mindset", always looking for new opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are

  • Speak English fluently;
  • Possess a "start up" mentality, with a clear focus on striving for improvements;
  • Enjoy working autonomously, whilst also collaborating with your own team alongside multiple other departments and stakeholders;
  • Actively try to detect inefficiencies and propose solutions;
  • Act on initiative, and search for answers to provide the best experience for our customers;
  • Be the type of person who won't stop until they get a resolution, and be great at communicating the resolution or decision taken.

Nice to have

  • Speak German, Italian, Spanish or French
  • Have experience working in Fintech or traditional banking
