About the Role

We are looking for ML Engineer, who will be at the forefront of transforming our FinCrime Risk Management systems. Initially, your focus will be on mapping out our data landscape and refining ETL processes, before moving on to craft real-time data aggregates, establish microservices for ML models, and ensure our system scales seamlessly. Your journey could ultimately see you stepping up into a leadership position within our predictive analytics division. We're searching for an individual who is not just technically astute, but also a critical thinker who challenges the status quo, communicates fluently with peers and superiors alike and has the ability to demystify complex ideas for those less familiar with the subject matter. In this role, your proactive approach, whether working independently or as part of a team, will be crucial to our common success.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain ETL processes, provide data health checks. Take provided data, describe, and transform it using appropriate data manipulation techniques and load it into the application.
• Software development based on the provided risk analysis models for a high-load project. Implement API for data aggregates and current and future models.
• Make a CI/CD for transferring materialized views and deploying APIs with models (SQL, python, C++).
• Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with the data analysts and risk management teams.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues, troubleshoot ETL failures, and provide technical support.
• Model monitoring, validation and re-training.

Who You Are

• Min 2-3 of proven experience working as an ETL Developer or Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong proficiency in SQL-based programming languages
• Experience with Python language
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (ex. Google Cloud) and big data technologies (ex. BigQuery)
• Experience in shipping machine learning-based projects in production.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related issues
• Critical and analytical thinking;
• Start-up oriented, proactive, result-driven, and capable of working under own initiative and little supervision.
