About Us:
At Pivot ABA, you'll be part of a small, clinician-led team dedicated to helping children with various abilities build skills, independence, and confidence. We work in homes, schools, and the community with our clients and their families. Our staff meet weekly with Masters or Doctoral-level supervisors, live during client sessions, for direct supervision and hands-on training, to review client progress, make program modifications, and identify ways supervisors can best support them.
About the Role
As an RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan
Use reinforcement strategies to promote learning and independence
Work with children by creating an environment that champions continued skill acquisition and development of functional communication, peer interactions, and school readiness
Celebrate victories (both big and small!), help kids and families celebrate milestones, and get more high fives than you’ve ever thought possible
Patience and the ability to model the calm during a storm
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with family about the child’s progress following each session.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education
Qualifications
Current RBT Certification (required)
Active CPR Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, & insurance (required)
Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
Comfortable working on the floor, lifting 25–40 lbs, and engaging in active play
