Lead Behavior Technician/ Clinic Coordinator

Tentative Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week (clinic is open 7:30am-8pm) weekends optional
Location: Carlsbad, NM
Pay: $23.00/hr

Job Summary:

The Clinic Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through their onboarding process, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining high standards of client care. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional behavior in an ABA clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding Support:
· Assist BTs and RBTs with onboarding by guiding them to the appropriate contacts and following up to ensure completion of the process.
· Assist with BT’s concerns about clinic procedures and direct them to the right person when needed.
· Scheduling when there is a change in schedule.

Documentation and Compliance:
· Ensure session notes are complete and accurate.
· Follow up with BTs and parents for any missing signatures or required documentation.
· Update administrative systems (Mission Control and Orbit) as needed.

Session Management & Coverage:
· Manage schedule changes and cancellations by coordinating with parents and BTs to minimize service disruption.
· Seek coverage for canceled sessions or provide direct coverage when alternatives are unavailable.
· Be available for urgent BT or parent needs from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the ability to delegate support when necessary.

Clinic Operations:
· Oversee daily clinic readiness, including schedule management, availability of materials, and cleanliness. (including checking and buying inventory)
· Arrange and supervise clinic activities and ensure an optimal environment for client services. Perform or assign opening and closing clinic routine.BT Oversight & Support:
· Guide BTs in using indirect hours productively to update client materials and maintain clinic presentation.
· Monitor BTs to ensure adherence to clinic schedules, ethical standards of ABA, and professional conduct during sessions. Have materials and schedules ready for BT/RBs to perform

Qualifications:
· RBT certification or in process
· Strong understanding of ABA principles and clinical operations
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Ability to take initiative, lead others, and handle multiple responsibilities
Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth

· Start Date: ASAP

Additional Compensation/Reimbursements:
· $50 bi-weekly gas stipend (edited)
