About the Role

Roots ABA Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing, community-based ABA team.

This is a part-time, hourly position (M–F, 3:30–6:30 PM) providing in-home ABA therapy to children (ages 2–6) in the Elmsford, NY area. You’ll work closely under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that help clients build meaningful skills and achieve developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision

  • Collect accurate data on client behavior and skill acquisition

  • Support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills

  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to promote skill generalization

  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in all client interactions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)

  • Experience working with early intervention (ages 2–6) and in-home ABA settings (required)

  • Reliable transportation to client homes in Elmsford, NY

  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be comfortable working directly with children and families in their homes
