Compensation

  • $90K – $140K

We’re hiring our first UI/UX Product Designer to take ownership of user experience and interface design across our platform. As our first designer, you’ll partner closely with the CTO, Head of Product, engineers, and other team members to:

  • Define and own the end-to-end design process, from discovery and user flows to polished UI.

  • Build a lightweight design system in Figma that enables consistency across our customer- and internal-facing tools.

  • Conduct basic user testing and feedback sessions to guide design decisions.

  • Translate complex workflows into simple, usable experiences for clinicians and parents.

  • Collaborate daily with engineering to ensure designs are practical, clear, and implemented with high fidelity.

  • Contribute to the company’s design culture and set the foundation for a future design team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years experience as a product designer (UI/UX), ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment.

  • Strength in UX design (flows, usability, simplifying complexity) with solid UI skills for clean, consistent interfaces.

  • Experience creating design systems and scalable patterns.

  • Proficiency in Figma and comfort setting up workflows that engineers can adopt.

  • Strong collaboration skills — you enjoy working closely with PMs and engineers.

  • Comfortable being a generalist: from discovery and wireframing to pixel-perfect mockups.

  • A bias for action — scrappy, iterative, and able to balance speed with quality.

Why Join Us

  • High impact role — You’ll shape the design language of our entire platform at a critical stage of growth.

  • Room to grow — As the first designer, you’ll lay the foundation for a future design team.

  • Mission-driven product — Your work directly supports clinicians, children, and families in receiving essential care.

  • Tight-knit team — Small enough to move fast, big enough to have traction.
