About The Role
Retirement infrastructure is one of the most complex, consequential, and underserved corners of the employment ecosystem. Finch sits at the center of it, connecting retirement platforms with employer payroll and HR systems, enabling the workflows that millions of employers and employees depend on.
We are at an inflection point. The retirement integration landscape is largely legacy — fragmented, manual, and brittle. Finch is building the automation layer that transforms it: reliable data mapping, intelligent workflows, and the kind of deep integration reliability that makes recordkeepers and employers actually trust their tooling.
This role owns that mission. You will inherit a growing foundation and be accountable for expanding it — growing the network of integrations, improving reliability and depth of automation, and building the product programs and operational rigor that make Finch the default infrastructure for retirement data. This is a growth role with direct revenue accountability, working hand-in-hand with the GTM team to expand Finch's reach in the market.
What You'll Do
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Finch's retirement integrations and solutions.
- Grow the network of retirement integrations, expanding reach, depth, and reliability
- Transform fragmented integration patterns into automated, scalable workflows through better data mapping, operational tooling, and integration architecture
- Lead design partnerships with strategic partners — co-building solutions that work for their systems and Finch's platform
- Partner with GTM to qualify opportunities, support sales cycles, and translate market demand into roadmap
- Operate as the GM of your product line - collaborate across all functions at Finch to drive whole product success and operational rigor.
Who You Are
- You think in growth: You can work closely with GTM to enable and drive new revenue for an emerging product, translating market opportunities into roadmaps with a clear business hypothesis.
- You proactively build and document the operating infrastructure around your work: cadences, decision logs, rollout plans, success metrics. Customer relationships are managed through structured, written communication.
- You inspire Engineering to own Building Business Outcomes with you, not only Features: You bring engineering into ambiguous problems early and create space for technical critique.
- You’ve run design partnerships. You know how to design a co-build relationship: structured discovery, clear feedback loops, scope management, and a communication layer that makes partners feel like true collaborators.
- You are fluent in the technical layer. APIs, data mapping, integration patterns, and operational workflows are your working vocabulary. You assess technical tradeoffs and engage credibly with integration teams.
- You use AI to multiply your productivity. You bring the strategy, structure, and judgment. You use AI to synthesize research, stress-test decisions, and accelerate well-scoped work, not replace the thinking.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping in technical, integration-heavy, or API-driven domains
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder products end-to-end
- Demonstrated experience partnering with GTM on revenue-adjacent roadmaps
- Strong written communication — you default to structured docs across the product lifecycle.
- Deep comfort with APIs, data mapping, and the operational realities of integration infrastructure.
- Undergraduate degree in technology, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
