About the Role:

We’re looking for people with a hustler mindset, who are curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work. We’re looking for someone dynamic with the below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role –

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of product & international market
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience with Export House in a company with a sizeable business ( > 100cr business per annum)
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Powerpoint & MS Excel
  • Preferred relevant experience of 5-7 years
  • The candidate must have a Graduation degree in any stream or diploma course in International Business.
  • Candidates with an MBA degree will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development of Agri-Commodities (Pulses, Spices & Oil Seeds)
  2. Conducting market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand-supply dynamics in the agricultural commodities market
  3. Assessment of global opportunities
  4. Commercial negotiation & order finalization
  5. Developing strategic relationship with stakeholders
  6. Negotiating contracts with suppliers, buyers, and intermediaries for the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities.
  7. Monitoring performance in quality, cost & delivery
  8. Coordination with the logistics and finance team & ensuring smooth operations
  9. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and industry standards governing the trade of agricultural commodities.
