Job Title: Regional Sales Manager -Staples
Reports to: Work Location: Kolkata / Mumbai / Ahmedabad
Edu.Quali. : N/A Relevant Exp: 6-10 Years
Reporters: Sales Executive, Sales officers
Travel Required: Yes
Purpose of Job
To generate a profitable business, maintain brand image, market all products as per targets,
develop dealer and customer networks and lead the team members in the region. Identify
growth opportunities for various businesses, Motivating the teams to perform.
Key Responsibility Area
Develop regional footprint for Agri commodities (Sales and Procurement)
Managing the entire bulk of commodity staples such as Rice, Maida, Suji, Sugar,
Pulses, Flour, Edible oil etc.
Prepare Sales plan and sales targets based on the potential of the market
Ensure Sales plan achievement in all the territories of the region based on market potential
and sales achievements of sales team and trade and ensure that profit margins/targets are
achieved.
Planning and supervision of Agri commodity Business to Business sales.
Promotion planning to boost sales and attain the required margin
Responsible for building vendor base, onboarding new vendors
Create and ensure achievement of long-term growth plan for the region by understanding
market segmentation product fitment.
Personal profiling
4+ years of experience in a reputed Agri commodity company.
Highly self motivated and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Computer skills.
