At Factorial, we're looking for a Payroll Consultant – French Market to ensure our clients get a world-class experience across our Payroll solution.

You'll play a key role in supporting French customers during implementation and adoption, helping them optimise payroll operations and compliance workflows. This is a hands-on, expert role where your knowledge directly impacts customer success and long-term value.

About the role 🚀

As the Payroll Consultant, you will:

• Support payroll implementations end-to-end: Guide French clients through the implementation and adoption of Factorial's Payroll module, ensuring a smooth transition and strong product usage.

• Act as a subject-matter expert for French payroll: Deeply understand client processes, French payroll requirements, DSN obligations, conventions collectives, and compliance workflows to tailor solutions to each organisation.

• Deliver consultative payroll enablement: Support payroll setup across time management, employee data, contract types, integrations, and compliance workflows, always adapting configuration to real business needs.

• Train & advise client teams: Deliver training sessions, share best practices, and support payroll teams in automating and scaling their processes.

• Identify risks, edge cases & improvements: Detect complex payroll scenarios, propose solutions or workarounds, and escalate when needed to ensure quality and compliance.

• Collaborate closely with Product: Act as a bridge between clients and Product teams by sharing insights on French payroll rules and recurring customer pain points. Participate in testing and feature validation.

• Build long-term customer partnerships: Support clients beyond go-live, ensuring ongoing compliance with French labour law, DSN requirements, and audit readiness.

• Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and implementation partners to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer journey.

Your Profile 🧐

In a few words: we're looking for a hands-on consultant with strong French payroll expertise, who enjoys problem-solving, advising clients, and owning complex implementations end-to-end.

• Strong knowledge of French payroll processes, conventions collectives, DSN, and local compliance.

• Languages: expert-level French and fluent English.

• Experience supporting clients, implementing SaaS/ERP/HRIS tools, or working in a consulting environment.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business processes into product configuration.

• Fast learner, comfortable keeping up with product evolution.

• Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership.

• Tech-savvy with a consulting mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with French payroll tools (Sage, Silae, ADP, etc.).

• Background in HRIS, payroll digitalisation, or process automation.

• Experience building or delivering scalable service packages.
