- Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements, and act as an internal expert on legal HR matters.
- Manage immigration and work permit processes for international employees (NIE, visas, renewals, etc.), liaising with legal advisors and government bodies when needed.
- Support the drafting, review, and maintenance of employment contracts, internal policies, and legal documentation.
- Collaborate with external legal partners (labor lawyers, legal firms) when needed.
- Monitor updates to labor legislation and proactively propose adjustments to our internal processes.
- Assist in audits, inspections, or administrative processes (e.g., SEPE, INSS, labor inspections).
- Provide support to the wider People team in employee relations cases, performance management procedures, or sensitive cases from a legal compliance perspective.
- Help maintain and improve processes related to onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation from a legal and compliance standpoint.
Requirements
- Degree in Labor Law, Human Resources, or Social Sciences; a background as a Labor Lawyer or “Graduado Social” is highly valued.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in People Operations or an HR legal advisory role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Equality Plans (Planes de Igualdad) in Spain.
- Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and social security regulations.
- Familiarity with immigration processes (permits, visas, NIEs).
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and proactive.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (professional level required).
