What you'll do 📜

You will partner with a team of Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to shape, build, and test strategic solutions that drive user and business outcomes.

From research to wire-framing, to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will craft products that solve problems in a simple and elegant way, while considering every small detail.

You will think holistically across all Factorial surfaces to design opinionated solutions for vertical products, while maintaining consistency across the platform.

Who you are 👤

You are a good fit if...

• You have many years of proven experience working as a Senior or Staff Product Designer at a startup or a similar tech company.
• You love using software and know where to find the right references and inspiration to solve the problem at hand.
• You know how to balance user, market, and business inputs, along with your own intuition and guts.
• You are autonomous, resourceful, and can work with constraints as an opportunity to drive creativity.
• You know how to work closely with Software Engineers to understand the technical constraints behind your designs
• You think in systems and are able to extrapolate and extend shared patterns and behaviors across the platform.
• You care deeply about details and constantly push your designs until they are pixel-perfect and bug-free.
• You can clearly communicate your decisions to a wide range of partners. Plus, you do this with clear and concise writing.

Compensation ✨

The salary range for this position starts at 45,000€. We are only considering profiles who have proven experience designing digital products at scale.

Our Process 🧩

1. 👋 First Interview (1 hour)

• A chat with our Tech Talent Acquisition specialist and a Design Director.
• Let’s get to know each other! We’ll dive into your experience, design thinking, and align on expectations.
• Your turn: Ask us anything about Factorial - the team, design culture, day-to-day work, or beyond.

2. 🎨 Portfolio Deep Dive (1 hour)

• Walk us through your portfolio or a case study.
• We want to understand your workflow, decision-making, and how you solve design challenges.

3. 🛠️ Practical Challenge (≤ 8 hours)

• To validate your skills and assess your level fit for Factorial, we’ll share a fictional challenge that simulates a real situation you might encounter as a designer here.

4. 💡 Challenge Presentation (1 hour)

• Present your work to the team, answer questions, and meet future colleagues.
• Collaboration and feedback are key here!

5. ✨ Offer Stage

• If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll send a detailed offer reflecting your expertise and our alignment.
