The RevOps Engineer Team Leader is a strategic and technical leadership role at the intersection of engineering, GTM strategy, and business growth. You’ll lead a team of technical RevOps Engineers to design, implement, and scale impactful automations, tool integrations, and data solutions that fuel revenue generation across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You are not just building — you're steering the team towards high-leverage projects, aligning with business priorities, and continuously unlocking new growth paths.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and Coach a High-Performing RevOps Engineering Team

  • Set direction, prioritize team backlog, and support day-to-day execution.
  • Coach engineers on best practices in GTM automation, prompt engineering, AI tooling, and scalable architecture.
  • Establish standards for clean, reusable, and well-documented code and logic across the team.

2. Architect GTM Systems and Automations

  • Own the technical roadmap for GTM tooling and automations, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Ops to scope impactful use cases that accelerate revenue.
  • Champion innovation with AI and Backend-as-a-Service tools to reduce manual work and unlock smarter workflows.

3. Drive Strategic Initiatives and Revenue Impact

  • Identify and prioritize technical initiatives that drive measurable business impact: time savings, conversion lift, lead velocity, etc.
  • Partner with GTM leaders to define, implement, and optimize growth loops, lead scoring, routing logic, and campaign flows.
  • Regularly review and report on project KPIs and identify opportunities to iterate.

4. Build Scalable Systems & Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure scalable architecture across automation projects.
  • Work closely with Data, Product, Ops, and GTM teams to break silos and drive adoption of tech solutions.
  • Be the technical bridge between vision and execution for C-level initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills required

💡 Must-Haves

  • Strong Technical Foundations: Fluency in Node.js, Python, APIs, and workflow scripting. Experience with AI engineering, prompt engineering, and building tool integrations.
  • GTM Knowledge: Understanding of sales funnels, marketing attribution, CRM (like HubSpot), lead gen, lifecycle stages, and revenue operations KPIs.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale technical teams. Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You’re a builder, breaker, optimizer. Comfortable with ambiguity, driven by experimentation, and biased for action.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to balance short-term execution with long-term vision. You understand how engineering decisions impact GTM outcomes.

⚙️ Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with GTM stacks (HubSpot, Salesforce, Chili Piper, Gong, Aircall, etc.).
  • Background in RevOps Engineering, Data Engineering, or Growth Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Backend, Backend-as-a-Service platforms and low-code/no-code automation tools.
  • Exposure to data modeling, reverse ETL, or CDPs.
