Factorial is seeking a talented and experienced SecOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in securing our systems and infrastructure. This position is remote or hybrid (based in Barcelona).
As a SecOps Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Security Operations Team, responsible for safeguarding our systems and data. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our security posture remains robust and up-to-date. Your role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures and best practices.
The Role:
- Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents, providing timely and effective responses.
- Develop and manage security alerts to ensure accurate detection and swift action.
- Conduct thorough incident response, ensuring quick and efficient mitigation of security threats.
- Perform detailed security investigations to identify root causes and impacts.
- Gather and analyze threat intelligence to stay ahead of potential security risks.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices across the organization.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update incident response plans and procedures.
- Provide security awareness training to staff to ensure company-wide vigilance and compliance.
The annual salary range for this position is €40,000 to €50,000 + 7% variable + 10% ESOP
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar SecOps or similar role (Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, DevSecOps...)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of Cyberattacks and Threat Actor Tactics Techniques and Procedures.
- Experience using and managing EDR and SIEM solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with Datadog is a plus.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
