About the Role

What You'll Do

• Financial Close & Reporting: Perform timely and accurate month-end close, managing financial closing activities (including foreign entities), consolidation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Team Leadership: Supervise the existing accounting team and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and accurately.
• Process Improvement: Lead efforts to build out new workflows and structure, actively addressing and improving month-end close processes to drive operational efficiency.
• Technical Accounting: Identify, research, and document Fabric’s technical accounting policies. Evaluate complex business transactions to ensure proper U.S. GAAP accounting treatment.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors to drive timely closure of deliverables and technical accounting matters.
• Strategic Projects: Assist with financial due diligence and integration of M&A transactions as needed, and support the Controller with other ad hoc projects.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 6–8 years of experience combined from public accounting and private companies.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including familiarity with revenue recognition and stock-based compensation.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP is required.
• Process-driven with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Excellent analytical skills and highly inquisitive.
• Passion for building a fast-growing company and comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Bonus Points

• CPA certification.
• Excellent technical writing skills.

The national pay range for this role is $140,000.00– $170,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, including a comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan, stock options and bonuses. If your compensation requirement is greater than our posted range, please still consider applying; a determination can be made based on unique qualifications.
