Fabric is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js. As a Senior Software Engineer, Front Door, you will
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance web applications utilizing Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript within a microservice architecture.
- Actively contribute code, refactor existing codebases, and provide technical guidance to elevate overall code quality and system architecture.
- Serve as a key resource for our product engineering team by sharing deep knowledge and insights into our products and the technical landscape.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with other engineers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and performant solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and address any critical incidents that may arise outside of normal working hours.
Requirements for the Role
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development as part of a cross-functional agile team, ideally with Node.js / NestJS / Express.
- 2+ years of experience with a NoSQL database (preferably MongoDB, Dynamo, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience maintaining and deploying web applications and services on cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- A demonstrated track record of developing well-designed, thoroughly tested, secure, and documented software solutions.
- Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and application monitoring tools.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and processes.
- Experience building integrations with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Experience with event-based architecture.
