About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic and proactive HR Operations Lead to oversee and refine our HR processes, ensuring an exceptional experience for employees and supporting business growth. As a vital part of our People Operations team, you will own critical HR functions— employee onboarding/off-boarding, company events coordination, compensation management and analysis, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-oriented individual with a strong background in HR operations and a passion for optimizing people processes within a high-growth, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: support with ensuring smooth onboarding of new joiners, including designing and coordinating onboarding events and processes. Support with administration related to offboarding.
- Company events coordination: support with execution of company events each quarter to support company culture and team building.
- Compensation management and analysis: provide insights and analysis that support the recruiting team as well as internal compensation management.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring seamless administration of employee records, benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify, develop, and implement operational HR improvements, optimizing processes related to onboarding, offboarding, data integrity, and employee lifecycle management.
- HRIS Management: Oversee the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting system issues, and leveraging insights to inform decision-making.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employee relations matters, escalating issues as necessary.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and benefit programs, including open enrollment, vendor relationships, and benefits communication to employees.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop, track, and report on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-fill, employee engagement) to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Policy Development & Documentation: Create, update, and maintain HR policies and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT, and other teams to support initiatives, such as budget forecasting, employee engagement programs, and change management efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a tech startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience with HRIS platforms, IE Trinet, and a strong understanding of HR data analytics.
- Solid understanding of HR compliance requirements and employment laws.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
