About the role:

Data is the backbone of what we are building at Equip–we use it everyday to support business processes, measure our success, and inform our decisions. We are looking for a Team Lead to enable growth and excellence under our Clinical Analytics vertical.

As a Team Lead in this role, you’ll have opportunities to oversee the development of reporting and analyses that impact the Clinical departments at Equip–including Care Delivery, Care Operations, and Care Experience. Your work will drive the insights that improve patient lives, empower our providers, and help Equip grow. The Team Lead, Analytics is a strategic thinker and healthcare expert; communicates effectively; works comfortably in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments; and delights in mentoring and guiding others.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan impactful analytics projects.

  • Lead the team and provide expert, hands-on technical guidance.

  • Champion analytics best practices, including effective visualization, data storytelling, documentation, testing, and version control.

  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise in the company's business model, clinical model, and corresponding data infrastructure.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to uncover critical patterns and insights within our data.

  • Set and uphold high data quality standards, actively monitoring key quality metrics.

  • Identify opportunities for foundational improvements in our methodologies and pipelines.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data and Analytics practitioner.

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably digital health and/or healthcare delivery organizations.

  • 1+ years of people management experience or demonstrated experience and ability to coach and mentor others.

  • Empowers others through attention, engagement, and direct feedback.

  • Demonstrated ability to inform data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Organized and results-driven.

  • SQL and dbt expertise.

  • Advanced experience with BI tools (Mode, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for dashboards/reports.

  • Advanced experience with statistical analysis tools (Python, R, etc.).

  • Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions.

  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, extensible, and testable code.

  • Familiar with transforming and analyzing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

  • Experience setting and following standards for data governance, data stewardship, and data literacy.

  • Experience with Git / GitHub.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
